Suavanao Airfield in Isabel Province was re-opened last Saturday following the successful rehabilitation of the airport’s deteriorating runway which has forced the Government to close it in September this year.

Honiara, Solomon Islands - International visitor arrivals to the Solomon Islands for September 2017 have, according to Tourism Solomons CEO, Josefa Tuamoto, "gone off the Richter Scale" with the destination recording a close on 70 per cent year on year increase.
