The charter operation will first operate from Honiara to Guangzhou on Tuesday 1st September returning again from Guangzhou to Honiara on Wednesday 2nd September. The aircraft will stop briefly in Biak, Indonesia, in both directions for fuel, with no passengers or crew disembarking the aircraft.

On Thursday 3rd September, flight IE601 will return from Honiara to Brisbane, departing 12.00pm and arriving 2:15pm. Limited seats will be available on this service to those who have the relevant approvals to stay or transit in Australia, and subject to Border Force and quarantine requirements.

Those interested in knowing more about the services are advised to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade (MFAET) or their nearest Solomon Islands Mission.

All Solomon Airlines charter and repatriation flights comply with the COVID-19 regulations and requirements of the relevant countries. Solomon Airlines crew wear facemasks and gloves for duration of service and catering is minimal to reduce contact between passengers and crew.
