Solomon Airlines continues to upgrade the airline’s website, making the process of searching and booking flights clearer and easier for holiday and business travellers, and travel agents booking flights online.

“The latest enhancement to our website is a behind-the scenes digital upgrade which went live this week, making an improvement that many of our customers have wanted for some time,” said Solomon Airlines CEO Napoleon Padabela.

“It is a seemingly small, but very important change, making it possible for customers in Solomon Islands and all around the world, who book with debit or credit cards, to now see fares and pay for their flights in Solomon Islands Dollars (SBD) or their preferred of 19 other currencies,” he explained.

Mr Padabela said the multi-currency capability is another example of continuous improvement to customer experience.  He confirmed that within an hour of the function going live, customers had already booked flights in SBD, USD, NZD, PHP in addition to AUD which was available prior to the change.
