Solomon Airlines is pleased to announce the return of their popular ‘shopping flight’ initiative for their valued economy passengers on flight IE701 from Brisbane to Honiara on Saturdays.

Effective for tickets sold from Friday 6 February, passengers can enjoy a checked baggage allowance of 40kg on Saturday travel during the months of February, March, May, August, September and November 2026.

That’s an extra 10kg for most economy passengers, in addition to the standard 30kgs checked baggage allowance already offered.
