Henderson Airport Operational Status

Solomon Airlines wishes to advice its valued passengers for both international and domestic flights that following the occurrence of a 7.7 magnitude earth quake that hit the Solomon Islands early this morning all its operations remain as normal.
Advice from the Honiara Air Traffic Control with regards Henderson Runway Operational Status is that Henderson Airport is NORMAL OPS at this point in time.
Solomon Airlines domestic operations are running normal with constant updates being received from our domestic stations and we will continue to provide updates should there be further developments on ground at Henderson Airport.

Honiara, Solomon islands – Solomon Airlines has advised that all confirmed passengers flying between Honiara and Seghe affected by the temporary closure of Seghe Airport have been given the option of changing their flights to Munda or Ramata services at no additional cost.
